Wendy Lumish is the head of the appellate and trial support practice group. Her primary focus is trial support and appeals in the areas of products liability, personal injury and medical malpractice defense. She represents manufacturers of multiple products including automobiles, chemicals, medical and pharmaceutical products, and various types of equipment. In that capacity, Ms. Lumish has extensive experience working on legal issues of national significance including crashworthiness doctrine, design defect, comparative fault, liability of non parties, the use and scope of expert testimony, the seat belt defense, warnings, punitive damages, and class actions.

In the area of medical malpractice, Ms. Lumish has addressed key issues concerning causation, liability of non parties, and excessiveness of damages.

In addition to traditional appellate work in state and federal courts, Ms. Lumish's practice includes extensive participation at the trial court level. Her role includes general trial strategy, preparation of dispositive motions, motions in limine, and jury instructions. Ms. Lumish routinely attends trials to argue these motions and jury charges. She also handles the post trial briefing and argument.

Ms. Lumish is board certified in Appellate Law by The Florida Bar. Ms. Lumish is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Appellate Lawyers, an organization whose membership is limited to 500 members and is by invitation only.
